WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
Our school motto is "We live to learn and we learn to live". Children at Gordonbrock School are eager and enthusiastic to share their knowledge with each other, visitors and parents and carers. Our aim is to develop self-confidence and pride in children.
We believe that children should have an understanding of what it means to be part of a school community and also the wider community. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for others in school and to respect the many cultures and backgrounds of our children. We have 30 languages of the world represented in our school and a number of our children are bilingual.
Ours is a community where everyone in it - parents, carers, children, staff, governors and neighbours have an important role to play in helping the children to grow up with an understanding of the world around them. We want the children to become responsible members of the community, to be sensitive to the needs of others and to achieve well for themselves.
